The 2010 Lethbridge Business Awards were presented on October 19, 2010. Dominion Lending Centres was nominated for one of these awards which truly was an honour. I think I can speak for our entire office by saying that we are proud to be a part of a local business that is not only growing but recognizing the true importance of the people within an organization.

Today, October 20/10 I spent a portion of my afternoon delivering flowers to the winners. It was so much fun to go back to my ‘florist’ roots and proudly make the deliveries. The flowers brought smiles to faces and allowed me to connect with these new smiling faces. I couldn’t resist taking a picture of just half of the flower arrangments in the back of my car. I grew up within my parent’s business of a florist shop/greenhouses and I began delivering flowers as soon as I got my driver’s licence. I had forgotten how amazing it feels to make someones day with such a simple gesture… flowers!
